Dr. Robert Peracchia
Dr. Robert Peracchia is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and has provided pediatric dental care to children since 1998.
Dr. Robert Peracchia earned his dental degree at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario Canada. He continued his training with post-graduate residencies in Pediatric Dentistry and Hospital Dentistry at the University of Washington in Seattle and Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. This allowed Dr. Peracchia to develop greater expertise in all areas of pediatric dental treatment.
Dr. Peracchia is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Columbia University’s School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Peracchia holds a hospital appointment at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital where he provides treatment for his patients requiring general anesthesia in a children’s hospital operating room. Dr. Peracchia is currently an Attending Clinical Professor for the New York University College of Dentistry Global Student Outreach Program.
Regularly attending continuing education courses enables Dr. Peracchia to stay at the forefront of his specialty so that he can provide optimal care to his patients. He attends courses focusing on dental technology, materials, technique and orthodontics so that the most current options are available to his patients. Dr. Peracchia is a board certified pediatric dentist of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, a member of the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the New York County Dental Society.
Dr. Robert Peracchia resides in New York’s Upper West Side with his wife Dr. Mary Eve Maestre and their three boys.
